NetGain Technologies Acquires U.S. Teks
NetGain Technologies, a managed service provider (MSP), recently announced that it is all set to acquire U.S. Teks, a company that provides comprehensive strategic and tactical technology services.
Officials from NetGain said that all 10 employees of U.S. Teks will now work for the company. Looking to expand aggressively, NetGain has now acquired five company in three years. This acquisition will bring in 50 managed services contracts valued at over $100,000 a month for NetGain.
"I am talking to people every day in specific markets," explained Jason Jacobson, director of corporate development for NetGain, to CRN.com. "I am sure we will continue to acquire companies."
For example, in June this year, NetGain Technologies acquired NCDTech, an information technology (IT) network management company that provides managed IT services. Both the companies are based in the US. The acquisition enabled NetGain Technologies to expand its market share in St. Louis, US.
NetGain is now eyeing markets in Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee, as well as in Jacksonville, Tampa and Fort Lauderdale, Forida.
"Many managed service providers don't have the certifications and engineers to do on-site project work," Jacobson said. "We have the best of both worlds, so we can provide managed services for a bank with 15 locations and 200 employees and, at the same time, provide project work like upgrading their EMC storage or Cisco (News - Alert) network. Our customers don't need to go to another provider to get that done."
NetGain offers a range of managed IT solutions including design, implementation and management of IT networks and systems. NetGain's products and services are geared toward small-sized companies up to Fortune 500 enterprises and are designed to help customers maximize efficiency and net profits.
Recently, the company celebrated Brendan Jacobson's fifth anniversary with the company.
