Intrust IT Now a Member of Sangoma Reseller Program
Intrust IT, a Microsoft (News - Alert) solution provider in the United States, joined the Sangoma reseller program with the intention to standardize its on-premises Lync deployments with Sangoma’s NetBorder Lync Express appliance.
The NetBorder Lync Express appliance is capable of reinforcing Intrust IT portfolio of Office365 solutions.
Mark Wagner, vice president of sales for carrier, Microsoft Lync and Office 365 solutions at Sangoma, commented, “We are very pleased that Intrust IT will participate in the Sangoma reseller program, and look forward to working with them in accelerating their sales and expanding their Lync market share. Lync Express is the only all-in-one Lync appliance in the market, and it will enable Intrust IT to enhance the services it delivers and expedite deployment. We anticipate that both our companies will benefit greatly from this relationship.”
According to Sangoma, the Lync Express is an all-in-one Lync server appliance with a built-in VoIP gateway and session border controller and one of the main use cases of the appliance is in providing telephony functions for customers deploying or currently using Office 365. Lync Express provides PSTN access, SIP trunking, 911 access and FXS support in addition to all of the local server and software resources needed to deploy Lync.
Also Lync Express models easily scale to serve up to 1000 Lync seats, include certification with Lync 2013, and incorporate a full-featured Session Border Controller (SBC) for deployments using SIP trunks.
Intrust IT asserted that as a Microsoft Gold partner, it is well positioned to deploy Lync to any enterprise. By incorporating the advantages offered by the NetBorder Lync Express, Intrust IT hopes to eliminate the hurdles involved in configuring and deploying the telephony component of a full Lync implementation. The entire integrated Lync package is expected to save Intrust IT a great deal of time and cost for implementing this technology.
