David Cuthbert Revealed as New Alteva CEO

Alteva (News - Alert), or the Company (Warwick Valley Telephone Company), was founded in 1902, but that hasn’t stopped it from adapting to the latest technology to become a leader in its field. In fact, it only served as a strength, where today, Alteva is a recognized world technology leader in cloud-based unified communications (UC) solutions for businesses of all sizes.

- Alert) has given the company the ability to provide the best in class hosted UC solutions. In exciting news, the board of directors of the company newly revealed the election of David Cuthbert (News - Alert) to replace Duane Albro as its brand new CEO.
Mr. Cuthbert was the CEO of Alteva before it was purchased by the Company in August of 2011. After the completion of the purchase, he was named COO of its parent company and subsequently has been groomed to be the next CEO by being appointed to the company’s Board of Directors in December of 2011, being named president of the company in August of 2012. As of January 2013, the company has been operating as Alteva.
The company has been making news in the UC sector by providing customers with Unified Communications (News - Alert)-as-a-Service (UCaaS) and how organizations can benefit. They held a session titled "Selling UC-as-a-Service" at The Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas less than a week ago, highlighting the growing demand in UCaaS.
The company will also be presenting at the ROTH Capital Partners 25th Annual Growth Stock Conference on March 18th with newly selected CEO Cuthbert and former CEO Albro. The ROTH conference is an annual three-day investment conference which brings together executives from 370 growth companies and 1000 buy-side investors.
