911 Enable (News - Alert) recently announced it will be providing E911 call routing services to MyAssist, a specialist provider of concierge, emergency travel and medical assistance services. The partnership allows both companies to offer subscribers comprehensive and dependable E911 services, effectively building on customer value.

In a statement, Brad Rutta, VP of Marketing at MyAssist said that, "Our ability to provide E911 solutions for telematics places us ahead of traditional concierge services. MyAssist is now able to offer unmatched personal assistance because our operations can help our user-base during the times they need help the most.”

During any kind of an emergency, MyAssist and other Telematics Service Providers (TSP) need to provide their subscribers with quick and seamless connectivity to concerned Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) within their specific geographic location. The challenge that MyAssist faces is that its Telephone Concierge Specialists (TCS) may not be located in the same geographic location as the calling subscriber.

If this is the case, the TCS may not have access to the required information to help in connecting the calling subscriber to his local PSAP.

By leveraging 911 Enable’s hosted PSAP Link service, TSPs such as MyAssist can now easily resolve this challenge.

Lev Deich, director of 911 Enable said that, "911 Enable was pleased to partner with MyAssist to deliver an innovative all-encompassing E911 solution designed to provide their customers with real peace of mind. Working together, we were able to meet MyAssist's unique needs in a simple, cost-effective way."

911 Enable’s hosted PSAP Link easily integrates with MyAssist's technology, thus allowing for the seamless transfer of 911 calls and delivery of location information with the correct PSAP with the click of a button.

This helps effectively reduce emergency response times while driving subscriber safety.
