Sonus Allows Consultants to Access its Knowledgebase

Sonus Networks (News - Alert) is providing communications network consultants with preferred access to Sonus product information, training and sales support.


The global specialist in SIP communications has launched a new initiative to this end, which is called as the Consultant Liaison Program (CLP).

Sonus is enabling the consulting community to help their enterprise and service provider customers make informed decisions through this program.

CLP will include information on Sonus’ complete product portfolio, including the session border controller family of products, Centralized Policy Server, Sonus VoIP trunking solutions, hosted voice solutions and network performance suite of applications.

This program will especially help those who are building flexible, SIP-based solutions designed to help users work in a faster and more collaborative manner.

Complimentary to qualified applicants Sonus CLP members will get free training and education, timely solution updates, sales and marketing support, access to exclusive events and a dedicated Sonus CLP account manager.

“Sonus’ Customer Liaison Program allows consultants to access the Sonus knowledgebase, providing the information they need quickly -- whether it’s ROI analysis, RFI (News - Alert)/RFP completion or technical expertise,” said Todd A. Abbott, Sonus senior vice president Global Sales, Marketing and Business Development . “This is a critical step for Sonus to better serve the enterprise and service provider market by proactively enabling those consultants who help define and design the world’s communications solutions.”

Sonus was named the fastest-growing provider of SBC solutions for 2011, according to research firm Infonetics (News - Alert). The company was in news this week when Telenet selected the Sonus SBC 5100 Session Border Controller (SBC) to unify SIP communications for the cable operator's approximately 2,000 employees.
